Financial Analyst

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Obtain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
- Drive budget and forecasting activities.
- Responds to inquiries from the Finance Director SG/MY, department heads and senior management regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like.
- Execute preparation of monthly analysis such as opex/overhead against prior year and budget, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate the risks.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing Team in determining financial result and projected performance, and preparation of monthly SP&O, ML and related reports.
- Identify, investigate, and analyze potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings make proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.)
- Build feasibility studies on new projects and provide insights to business team for management consideration.
- Ensure all budget, forecast, analysis, audit, and replies, and assigned financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Work with each country function heads to establish goals and objectives for each year.
- Support the Finance Director SG/MY with special projects and workflow process improvements.
- Be the SAP coordinator to drive initiatives of improving reporting tools and solving related issues.

**Your ideal profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Qualified accountant from one of the recognized professional accounting bodies
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Financial Analysis
- Good communication and interpersonal skills both in English and Chinese
- Sound knowledge in SAP and BW
- Project management experience
- Flexibility on time and incidences being contacted for business
- Self-motivated with positive “can do” approach and performance-oriented, and able to work independently
- Good team lead and player who demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced setting with ability of prioritizing workload
- Flexible and ability to handle various and unanticipated requirements from users and department heads
- Pro-active and attention to details
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
