Shipping Clerk

**Responsibilities**
Assist the team in the following:
- Processing domestic and/or international shipments
- Performing a variety of material handling and logístical tasks in alignment with manufacturing production
- Verifying items including inspecting loss or damage against Proforma Invoice or Purchase Order
- Generating Shipper’s Letter of Instruction
- Generating shipping documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List for shipment
- Posting and keeping track of the shipping documents
- Liaising with freight carriers, shipping agents and forwarders as needed
- Posting shipping charges and maintaining detailed shipment files
- Gathering feedback and providing recommendations for improvements
- Any additional assignments for business conduct as directed by the Company
**Knowledge / Skills / Competencies**
- Basic maths skills and knowledge of personal computer
- Ability to learn quickly while being independent
- Ability to read and assimilate job documentation and identify and configure specific materials for each work order
- Ability to maintain detailed, accurate and organized records
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
