Income Auditor

Conduct daily audits of income-related transactions, including room revenue, food and beverage sales, and other income streams.
- Verify the accuracy of revenue postings and ensure they are in compliance with established accounting principles and company policies.
- Reconcile income records with sales reports, cash receipts, and other relevant financial documents.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies or irregularities in income records and report findings to management.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure proper recording and classification of income items.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements related to income, as required.
- Monitor internal controls related to income and revenue processes, recommending improvements where necessary.
- Work closely with other departments, such as front office, sales, and food and beverage, to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting.
- Help develop and implement standardized procedures for income auditing to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in external audits and provide necessary documentation and support as required.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices related to income auditing.
- Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in auditing income, revenue, or financial transactions.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills to interact with various departments and stakeholders.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
