**Responsibilities**:
- Job responsibility1. Handling inquiries including keying all received RFQs into the opportunity account, and prepare the official RFQ documents
- 2. Handle all incoming spare parts inquiry and support in reporting of the most competitive supplier
- 3. Assess the best method of shipping and option provided by the supplier, freight forwarder, in land shipping etc.
- 4. Contact suppliers with a request for purchase based on the inquiries received (from the supplier list in regards to the rotating equipment's and locate the correct one in case of General trading provided there is no saved/approved suppliers).
- 5. Getting goods and services for the best price and value
- 6. Preparing the quotation handover to the sales department and follow up with the suppliers.
- 7. Coordinate purchasing orders to suppliers with the project management team.
- 8. Monitor income deliveries against purchased goods to make sure there is no discrepancy
- 9. Support Tracking orders with project management team
- 10. Coordinate Vendor registrations of all potential companies and suppliers with the Operation Management
- 11. Focus on constant improvements to the procurement departments processes and workflow.
- 12. Manage the vendor evaluation process, with an effective vendor evaluation schedule and disciplined follow up of vendor status criteria.
- 13. Negotiate pricing and terms with all vendors and set guidelines so that the purchasing has a clear understanding of purchasing parameters and processes as negotiated.
- 14. Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies.
- 15. Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
- 16. Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- 17. Approve the ordering of necessary parts.
- 18. Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
- 19. Examine and test existing contracts.
- 20. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- 21. Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
- 22. Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
- 23. Expect un-favorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
- 24. Control costs and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Qualifications and requirements
- 1. Previous exposure to engineering / machinery procurement will be an asset.
- 2. People oriented and collaborative way of working.
- 3. University degree in either Engineering, Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics or Finance.
- 4. High fluency in English. Any other language is a plus.
- 5. Strong business acumen, strategic thinker, and ability to work across business lines.
- 6. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
