As a Mechanical Technician within our dynamic theme park environment, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and smooth operation of our attractions and rides. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems, including ride vehicles, conveyors, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and associated equipment. Your expertise will contribute to the overall guest experience by upholding high safety standards and minimizing downtime.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Maintenance and Repair**: Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs on mechanical systems of theme park attractions to ensure optimal performance and guest safety.
- **Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain operational readiness of rides and attractions.
- **Inspections**: Conduct regular inspections of mechanical components, identifying and addressing potential safety hazards or maintenance needs.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and supervisors to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and implement improvements.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- **Training and Development**: Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices through training programs and professional development opportunities.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond promptly to mechanical emergencies, participating in evacuation procedures and providing technical assistance as needed.

**Requirements**:

- **Technical Expertise**: Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical systems maintenance and repair, preferably within a theme park or entertainment industry setting.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues under pressure, with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in all maintenance activities.
- **Communication Skills**: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, convey technical information, and interact professionally with park guests.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required by the operational needs of the theme park.
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces, while adhering to safety protocols and ergonomic guidelines.
- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications in mechanical maintenance, such as HVAC, hydraulics, or pneumatics, are desirable.
- **Safety Mindset**: Commitment to safety excellence, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks in a theme park environment.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
