_**A Demi Chef de Partie is a mid-level position in the kitchen hierarchy, responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen. They work under the Chef de Partie and contribute to the overall efficiency of the kitchen by managing their assigned section.**_

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook dishes within their assigned section, ensuring adherence to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in dish preparation, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.
- Assist with training and supervising Commis Chefs, providing guidance on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and work ethic.
- Monitor and maintain quality control in the preparation and presentation of dishes.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including proper handling of food, maintaining a clean work area, and using personal protective equipment. Report and address any safety hazards promptly.
- Collaborate with other sections of the kitchen to ensure smooth service and effective teamwork.
- Contribute to the development of new menu items, providing suggestions for dishes, ingredients, and presentation styles.
- Assist with inventory control, receiving and storing food supplies appropriately, monitoring stock levels, identifying shortages, and requesting replenishment. For their section.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues within their section, maintaining smooth operations and ensuring timely food preparation.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience as a Commis Chef or equivalent
- Solid understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques, demonstrating proficiency in various culinary methods and cuisines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively managing time and tasks while collaborating with colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a well-organized work area.
- Creative and innovative approach to cooking, demonstrating the ability to experiment with flavors, techniques, and presentations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

**Salary**: From RM2,500.00 per month
