**Position: 3PL Warehouse Operations Assistant.**:

- **Salary: RM 1600-2000.**:

- **Work location: Port Klang-North Port,West Port.**

Our client is a integrated transport and logistics company, providing international freight forwarding and logistics services across Asia, Australia and Europe/America continents. Currently they have two openings in the operations works at their warehouse facilities at the North Port in Port Klang area. They are looking for experienced warehouse workers to undertake the warehouse operations functions at their Container Terminal at North Port (NDSB) and West Port in Port Klang.
The vacancies are permanent positions and form part of the warehouse operation team to manage the cargo/shipments that have have been imported or to be exported.
**Duties & Roles**
As Warehouse Operations Assistant, you will be responsible to carry out the following duties:

- Perform and verification check activities of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading,invoices,orders and other records.
- Carry out verification checks on customer order,shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments,reject damaged items, record shortages and correspond with shippers to rectify damages and shortages.
- Record shipment information/data,such as weight,measurements, charges
- Pack shipping containers,creating shipping labels and shipping documents.
- Loading and unloading of goods/cargo.
- Generate and maintain accurate shipping/receiving documentation.
- Male in age group 25-35.
- Punctual with positive work ethic.
- Physically fit with ability to lift and carry.
- Minimum qualification: SPM orDiploma in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or Business.
- Forklift license is necessary;a forklift license would be ideal, useful and beneficial.
- 2-3 years of previous warehouse operations,espacially in 3PL facility has a huge advantage and will be highly regarded.
- Hands on and hardworking with knowledge of both warehouse and logistics practices.
