Sales Specialist

Main accountabilities - Responsible for developing new pipelines & accounts to meet sales targets by selling Digital Solutions. - Responsible to develop the strategies to develop new accounts and sell deep into any assigned account in meeting the sales targets and KPI. - Champion sales strategies and execution in line with Marketing Funnel Business Model(s) for the Division. - Maintaining the pipelines constantly via Global Pipelines Management CRM system with monthly forecasting. - Understand the customers’ business and solution requirements and drive sales by positioning of NEC value propositions Business Development & Pipelining - Develop new accounts and sales leads, whether from company or through own initiative and contacts. - Formulate and implement Business Development plans aligned with NEC’s strategy. - Maximize revenue from each client. Identify and qualify opportunities of cross-selling and up-selling through customer interfacing, phone prospecting and solicitation. Pitch NEC Digital Solutions into new customers/pipeline in addition to existing key accounts. - Develop constant awareness of customer needs, influencers, buying patterns/motives, objections and expectations. - Ensure client’s requirements and expectations are managed and met. - Ensure appropriate resources are aligned, follow-up meetings are scheduled and solution plans are in place. - Leverage on potential networks/external stakeholders available for new business areas by participating in industry networking.
NEC Corporation of Malaysia Sdn Bhd NEC Malaysia Sdn Bhd was registered on 27th December 1987 and commenced operations on 1st March 1988. This wholly-owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation was set up in response to the Malaysian Government's 'Look East Policy' as well as to tap the unexplored market for personal computers and communications products. The initial line of products included mobile phones, key telephone systems, fax machines, ATUR sets, PABX systems, personal computers and printers. This and the change in the corporate direction saw the company changing its direction in year 2000. On 27th March 2000, the Company's name was officially changed to NEC Malaysia Sdn Bhd. The change in the name of the Company also brought about the changes in business direction.
