Possess at least Degree/ higher professional certificate in Culinary Art/ Food Preparation / F&B Services.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality establishment with good culinary skills.
- To effectively control the food production giving maximum quality and yield.
- Monitoring staff compliance with prescribed operating methods and exercising necessary control to ensure security of stock and property of the Company.
- To ensure that all maintenance requests are reported to the Maintenance Department on discovery in order to correct immediately. Accurate records to be kept.
- To prepare rotas, forecast wages and check and complete the Time and attendance system to ensure this is accurate to hours worked as per the rota for all members of the department ensuring that staffing levels are correct and within the set budgets in Chef's absence.
- To constantly check quality and quantity of food going out of the kitchen at CPU KUL.
- To monitoring of temperature conditions and food safety in company’s transport all the way from CPU KUL to other outlets by complying with requirements as determined by the regulation's body on a regular basis.
- To ensure that each section is manned efficiently and that the Chefs de Partie, Commis Chefs & Kitchen Porters are working to the best of their ability.
- To ensure correct methods are used for preparation of food and to check presentation at CPU.
- Monitor and ensuring all processes of sending and receiving food supplies are in order according to the prescribed standard operation processes and achieving the HACCP compliance.
- To make sure the kitchen team is giving an efficient, smooth and quick service while maintaining principles and standards set by the Company.
- To check the quality and weight of food coming into the kitchen.
- Supervise and make preparation and attend food sampling function for MH and Customer Airlines. Prepare portion meals according to recipes and menu specification.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
