Kindergarten Helper

Job Summary: As a Kindergarten Helper, you will be a dedicated and caring presence, responsible for the well-being and happiness of our young students throughout their day at the kindergarten. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care and support to children during incidents of vomiting, soiling, or accidents, while maintaining a clean and nurturing environment. Additionally, you may be requested to assist during special events or trips held on Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Health Check and Incident Support: Conduct health checks for children upon their arrival, ensuring their readiness for the day. Provide immediate assistance and comfort in case of any incidents of vomiting or accidents.
- Assist Teacher / Outdoor Cleaning: Support the kindergarten teacher during circle time activities and assist with outdoor cleaning to maintain a tidy and safe play area.
- Prepare Teabreak / Lunch: Assist in preparing nutritious and delicious teabreak and lunch for the children, promoting healthy eating habits.
- Diaper Changing and Incident Care - Photo: Provide diaper changing for children as needed, and offer compassionate support during incidents of soiling or accidents. Document moments with photos for supervisory purposes.
- Teacher Assistance: Offer support to the kindergarten teacher during educational activities, ensuring a positive and enriching learning experience.
- Shower Time: Assist students during shower time, ensuring their cleanliness and well-being.
- Break: Take a break to recharge and prepare for the afternoon activities.
- Diaper Changing and Incident Care - Photo: Provide diaper changing for children as needed and capture significant moments with photos for supervisory purposes.
- Prepare Milk and Naptime Setup: Prepare milk bottles for teatime and help set up beds for naptime, creating a cozy resting environment.
- Naptime Assistance: Comfort and assist the children as they settle down for naptime, ensuring a peaceful rest.
- Dishwashing: Clean and sanitize dishes and utensils used during mealtimes.
- Toy Cleaning and Window Maintenance: Engage in toy cleaning and window maintenance to maintain a hygienic and pleasant play environment.
- Assist with Daycare Teabreak: Lend a hand in preparing teabreak for the daycare session.
- Diaper Changing and Incident Care - Photo: Provide diaper changing for children during the daycare session and document any incidents with photos for supervisory purposes.
- Playtime Supervision: Supervise and engage with the children during playtime, ensuring their safety and happiness.
- Assist with Events and Trips (on Saturdays): Occasionally, you may be requested to assist during special events or trips held on Saturdays to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for the children.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience working with young children in a kindergarten or daycare setting is an advantage.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to handle incidents of vomiting, soiling, or accidents with care, sensitivity, and respect for each child's needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Working Conditions: The Kindergarten Helper role operates during regular kindergarten hours, with occasional assistance required on Saturdays for events and trips. You will work closely with the kindergarten teacher and other staff members to ensure the smooth functioning of our kindergarten and provide a nurturing environment for the children.

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
