The Business Analyst plays a key role behind driving initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Responsible in helping business units clearly define requirements and workflow for effective solution delivery, meeting key business objectives aligned to the company and departmental strategies and directions.
- Vital link between Business, Project Management, Analytics, Quality Assurance, Technology and Vendor units, supporting and ensuring successful completion of analytical, building, development and testing of all solutions.
- Collaborate with the units or functional areas to identify gaps, process, and workflow improvements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with business units to review existing processes and business challenges to identify opportunities for improvements and recommend solutions.
- Define, document and produce business processes, workflow, detailed functional and technical specifications, working with business, technology, and vendor teams.
- To work closely with stakeholders throughout the project to ensure efficiency and effectiveness communications management.
- To work with business and technology teams to ensure systems and end-to-end processes are tested before deployment. This may involve defining UAT test scripts, performing testing, working with the QA team, etc.
- Arrange and carry out user trainings as required as part of the project implementation.
- To support the delivery of projects within the Tech PMO portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM EXPECTATIONS:
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology (IT), Business or Finance related disciplines.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in General Insurance industry.
- Business analysis and project management experience are preferred.
- Knowledge of Re-Insurance business model is added advantage

Other requirements:

- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills to build roadmaps towards delivering business objectives.
- Clear understanding of all modules of core system in General Insurance environment
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain detailed documentation of business solutions such as policies, procedures, process flows, system configurations, reporting templates, etc.
- Proactive and resourceful in carrying out activities to achieve objectives.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Visio).
- Knowledge of Decision Tree Logic will be an added advantage.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- This will be a contract role for 1 year minimum

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

- Monday to Friday
