Position: Assistant Producer - Videography & Photography
Report To: Producer - Videography & Photography
Basic Function: To play a pivotal role in the end-to-end process of video content creation. Be responsible for creating content, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring the successful execution of video projects. your expertise will be crucial in maintaining high-quality standards and achieving project objectives within budget and timelines.
**SPECIFIC DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES**
- Assist the Producer in all pre-production, production and post-production matters;
- Assist in liaison work with internal production units and external companies;
- Collaborate with producer, project managers, and business units to understand project goals, objectives, and creative direction. Develop comprehensive production plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation;
- Assist the producer on location during production with regards to shooting, lighting, audio monitoring;
- Coordinating with the director / producer during production to ensure that all tasks are completed on time;
- Coordinate, communicate and execute Marketing projects;
- Meeting with project managers, writers and business units to discuss storyboarding or other preproduction details;
- Source and negotiate with external vendors, freelancers, and suppliers as needed. Acquire necessary equipment and resources for production;
- Create and manage production schedules, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet all deadlines;
- Assisting in planning the creative development of the program that has been assign;
- Dealing, securing potential talents that fit the criteria of the content program, as requested by stakeholders/producers;
- To ensure & monitor the process of pre-production until post-production of programs then report to producer accordingly;
- Able to work closely with several different teams from digital, marketing, communications, promotional department;
- Help with all duties/follow up for post-production which includes editing;
- Able to shoot with DSLR, iPhone, and any equipments relating to video and photo shooting.
**JOB SPECIFICATION - POSITION**
- Minimum Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications / Broadcasting / Graphic Design/Relevant or equivalent
- At least 1 - 2 years of working experience in Marketing, Broadcasting, Production field (any industries)
- Experience in production environment would be an added advantage
- High interest and knowledge of Drama, Film, Pop Culture, Reality Shows and Sports
- Basic editing, audio post, directing, graphic design skill/knowledge
- Team player, self-motivated, critical thinker, problem-solving skills and result driven person
- Good proficiency in written and spoken English (Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is an added advantage)
- Must have knowledge in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Capcut, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva
- Camera handling, video editing
- Entertainment, hospitality (accommodation & F&B), music
**Salary**: From RM3,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
