EDITE is an EdTech company based in Singapore and aspires to be leading the industry in providing academic IT services like timetabling and resource management systems to Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL). This is an exciting field if you have a passion of working with educational institutes and providing tech solutions to improve student/staff/organisational experiences.
**Job Summary**:
EDITE is on the hunt for a dynamic and results-driven IT Technical Sales Representative with a flair for sales, business development, and solution concept proposals, including cutting-edge cloud-based timetabling and resource management solutions. The chosen one will be entrusted with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships that are in sync with EDITE’s strategic objectives.
**General Duties**
**(1) Product and Solutions**
- Be able to demonstrate advanced sales knowledge through competitor awareness, market understanding and customer’s needs.
**(2) Sales**
- Sales Strategy: Executing sales strategies to generate leads, identify opportunities, and close sales deals. Collaborating with the sales team and other stakeholders to develop customized solutions and proposals for clients.
- Identify and engage potential clients, typically in the education industry, to understand their needs and propose suitable IT solutions or services.
- Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and sales pitches to effectively communicate the value proposition of IT products or services.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements with clients, aiming to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to develop sales strategies, identify market opportunities, and stay updated on industry trends.
- Follow through the sales negotiation and development of the solution until the successful closing of the sale;
- Be involved in the tender preparation and necessary documentations.
- Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process and beyond. Providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

**(4) Sales Reporting**
- Generate, maintain and further develop sales forecasts for allocated customer’s accounts.
- Closely follow up with clients and regularly report on sales progress, customer needs and competitor information.
**(5) Project Management**
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards, while effectively managing available resources.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report on key performance indicators to stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, proactively addressing issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members, clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct project reviews and evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement, promoting continuous process enhancement.
**Remuneration Package**:
- **Base Salary**: Based on experience and market rate.
- **Performance-Based Bonuses**: There will be performance-based bonuses based on project deliverables.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
