As an Interior Designer specializing in office spaces, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing interior design projects that create functional, aesthetically pleasing, and productive office environments. This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative and customized design solutions. The Interior Designer for office spaces must have a keen understanding of spatial design, ergonomics, and current trends in workplace design.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Client Consultation:

- Meet with clients to understand their functional requirements, brand identity, and design preferences for office spaces.
- Conduct needs assessments to determine the scope of the project.

Space Planning:

- Develop efficient and creative space plans that optimize functionality and flow within office spaces.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

Concept Development:

- Create and present design concepts, mood boards, and 3D renderings to clients for approval.
- Incorporate innovative ideas and current design trends into conceptualization.

Material and Finish Selection:

- Source and recommend appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and accessories in line with the design concept and budget.
- Develop a cohesive color palette and material scheme.

Furniture Specification:

- Select and specify furniture, lighting, and accessories that align with the overall design vision and functional requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for procurement.

Project Management:

- Develop project timelines and budgets in collaboration with clients and project stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation of the design, coordinating with contractors and sub-contractors.

Documentation:

- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and installation.
- Ensure accuracy and clarity in all project-related documents.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of interior design with architectural elements.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet project milestones.

Trend Research:

- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in workplace design.
- Integrate sustainable and wellness-focused design principles when applicable.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in commercial interior design, with a focus on office spaces.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) selection and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Salary**: From RM2,500.00 per month
