Key Responsibilities
- **Cost Estimation**: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- **Tender Preparation**: Develop and manage tender documents, evaluate bids, and recommend contractors and suppliers.
- **Contract Management**: Negotiate and administer construction contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- **Cost Control**: Monitor project costs throughout the construction process, identifying and addressing cost overruns.
- **Valuations and Payments**: Prepare valuations for progress payments and final accounts, ensuring fair compensation for work completed.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- **Reporting**: Prepare regular financial reports for project stakeholders, outlining budget performance and any variances.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and safety regulations.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- **Dispute Resolution**: Assist in resolving contractual disputes and claims, working with legal teams when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience in cost estimation, tender preparation, and contract management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of construction processes and project management methodologies.

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: From RM800.00 per month
