Job Responsibilities:
**1. User Research and Analysis**
- Conduct user research activities, such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
- Analyze research findings and translate them into actionable insights for improving the user experience.

**2. Information Architecture and User Flows**
- Define user journeys and interactions to guide the design process.

**3. Wireframing and Prototyping**
- Develop wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes to conceptualize and iterate on design ideas.
- Create interactive prototypes using tools such as Adobe XD to communicate and validate design concepts.

**4. Visual Design**

**5. UI Development Collaboration**
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of the designed interfaces.
- Provide design assets and specifications to developers, and assist in the UI implementation process.

**6. Usability Testing and Iteration**
- Conduct usability testing sessions to gather user feedback and validate design decisions.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and insights gathered from usability testing.

**7. Collaboration and Communication**
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Clearly communicate design concepts, decisions, and rationale to both technical and non-technical team members.

**8. Stay Updated with Industry Trends**
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Continuously enhance skills and knowledge through self-learning, attending web design conferences, or participating in design communities.

Qualifications:
**1. Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like graphic design, interaction design, or a related discipline is often required. However, some employers may consider equivalent work experience or a strong portfolio in lieu of a degree.
- _**Minimum of 2 years experience**_ in UI/UX design, either through freelance work, or full-time positions, is highly desirable.
- Must be able to _**read and speak mandarin**_ due to product content and target audience.

**2. Design Skills**
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Sketch for creating web layouts, graphics, and icons.
- Strong understanding of web design principles, including responsive design, grid systems, typography, and color theory.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups specifically tailored for web interfaces, utilizing tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or InVision.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is beneficial, as it helps in understanding the limitations and possibilities of web development.

**3. UI/UX Expertise**
- Thorough knowledge of user-centered design (UCD) processes and best practices for designing intuitive and user-friendly web interfaces.
- Proficiency in creating user flows, sitemaps, and information architecture to ensure logical and efficient navigation within a website.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines to create inclusive web designs that can be accessed by users with disabilities.

**4. Front-End Development Knowledge**
- Basic understanding of front-end development languages such as HTML and CSS to effectively collaborate with developers and ensure design feasibility.
- Awareness of the capabilities and limitations of different web technologies and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, React) to create designs that align with development requirements.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
