Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:

- To achieve high standards of service in the Housekeeping Department, ensuring maximum comfort for the hotel guests.
- To report to the office for daily assignment.
- To allocate daily work and any special assignments to the camber maids.
- To issue keys to maids and ensure that they are handled properly according to key procedures.
- To check occupancy according to chamber maids report.
- To conduct daily briefings to chamber maids. To assist them with special requests from the guests and attend to their complaints.
- To check the cleanliness and maintenance.
- Out of order rooms to be ready and released as soon as possible.
- To report all maintenance defects in its correct procedures and to ensure that they are remedied promptly.
- To report immediately all missing or damage items to Housekeeping so that Housekeeper can immediately it report to the Front Office.
- Responsible for proper stock of linen and supplies for floors assigned to him/her.
- Check attendance, appearance and discipline of chamber maids.
- Check and exchange soiled against cleaned linen.
- To organize special and irregular cleaning tasks.
- To prepare request for replenishment of floor supplies to the ExecutiveHousekeeper and to control its usage.
- To assist chamber maids whenever necessary.
- To deliver and collect items loaned by the guest according to procedures.

**Qualifications**:
a) Skills Required
- SPM/STPM or any relevant working experience
- Good supervision and leadership skills
- Well developed communication and customer relation skills
- Effective counselling and grievance handling skills
- Basic computer skills particularly in the use of MS Office
- Good trainer, able to facilitate at all levels
- Good command in English - written and spoken

b) Work Experience
- Minimum one to two years work experience as in Hotel Industry
- Preferable knowledge of Travel and Hotel industry

**Salary**: From RM1,800.00 per month
