**Job Summary**:
This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a strong customer service mindset, and the ability to foster a positive and efficient team environment.

**Responsibilities ;**

Front of House Team Management:

- Supervise and provide guidance to the front of house team, including cashiers, stewards, and bartenders.
- Schedule and allocate tasks to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and provide feedback.
- Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Daily Operations Management:

- Oversee and ensure efficient cashier operations, including accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with stewards to maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Provide support and guidance to bartenders in maintaining stock levels and serving beverages.
- Collaborate with the chef to ensure timely food delivery and address customer special requests.

Hygiene and Sanitation:

- Maintain and enforce tip-top hygiene standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and implement proper cleaning procedures for front of house areas, including tables, counters, and serving stations.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to sanitation protocols.

Menu Planning and Development:

- Collaborate with the chef on menu planning, ensuring coordination between front and back of house.
- Provide input and feedback on menu items based on customer preferences and feedback.
- Communicate menu changes and specials to the front of house team for seamless customer service.

Customer Service and Satisfaction:

- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Implement customer service standards and ensure they are followed by the front of house team.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and take necessary actions to improve the dining experience.

Client Meetings and Collaboration:

- Attend client meetings to discuss cafeteria services, address specific requests, and gather feedback.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to tailor cafeteria offerings to meet specific requirements.
- Communicate client expectations and requests to the front of house team.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in cafeteria or restaurant management, with a focus on front of house operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience supervising cashiers.
- Familiarity with bartending operations and ability to train and guide bartenders.
- Understanding of hygiene and sanitation regulations and ability to enforce them.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the chef on menu planning and development.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients, staff, and customers.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the cafeteria's operational needs.

**Education and Certifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree or certification in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
- Food safety and sanitation certification is highly desirable.
