Assistant Cinema Manager

Assist the CM to manage the Cinema as per the Company’s standards and expectations.
- Assist CM to ensure that the Company’s SOP are strictly implemented and adhered to at all times, including grooming standards.
- To follow up cinema cleanliness checklist.
- To always monitor the level and quality of customer service extended by the front-line employees.
- Closely monitor the performance of the cinema in terms of expenses, targets, revenues on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Assist the CM to manage all matters relating to employees.
- Assist the CM to review the programming plan and highlight any programming issues to the programming team.
- To assist the CM to check movie presentation and sound system meet the standard.
- Assist CM to place stock orders based on current requirement at all departments.
- Assist the CM in ensuring that all matters pertaining to cash management is strictly adhered to and that all staff follows the SOP.
- Assist CM to organize event and function which are held at respective cinemas.
- Assist CM to have strict controls and proper documentations on tickets refunds.
- Assist CM in prepare Month End Closing report and any other reports required by the Head Office on a timely basis.
- Verify and authorized Daily Banking Report and ensure there are proper supporting documents before submitting to Head Office for further action.
- Monitor the internal and external dispatch / courier is strictly for company purposes only.
- Carry out proper stock check on a monthly basis with due diligence and ensure there are normal-practices.
- Ensure that all cinema systems are in good working conditions.
- Prepare the purchase order based on the requirement for the CM’s approval.
- Check daily using the MOD Checklist and cross check with department checklist and implement actions and improvements.
- Assist CM to ensure a safe, healthy and conducive working environment for all staff and the cinema patrons by appointing Fire Marshall, Fire Drill, Safety Checks and evacuation procedures are in place.
- Carry out any other tasks that may be assigned by the Cinema Manager, Area Manager and Manager - Operations from time to time.
**Job Requirements**:
- Minimum SPM/ STPM/ Diploma or any higher qualifications.
- 2 - 3 years working experience in a similar capacity preferably in a Cinema or F&B Management.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia (spoken & written).
- Able to work under pressure with multiple tasks/assignments.
- Able to work during weekend and public holiday.
- This role will be based at **MBO Teluk Intan, Perak**.
**Salary**: RM1,900.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
