JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Responsible for maintaining the RCS scheduling system, the daily music and linker scheduling, and that the logs produced are in line with music policies as agreed in twice yearly ORM strategy meetings and that all logs have been checked and approved by Content Manager.
2) Prepare recommendations to Content Manager on songs that should be added to station rotations based on available research and peer interaction.
3) Serve as direct liaison with the record companies and wider music community to find potential future additions to the playlist and seek possible content collaborations Responsible for updating and maintaining the station CSA’s ensuring that material is relevant, topical and updated fortnightly.
4) Solely accountable for ensuring that the ‘Xrater’ is constantly maintained.
5) To provide WEEKLY research data on all current play list music to check for individual song popularity, burn rate, and potential Responsible for the identification of talent, and delivery of evening Drive show.
6) Conduct a weekly detailed monitor of agreed key competitors against a concurrent real time monitor of our station Involve in strategic planning & implementation (Preparing and presenting the survey document; facilitate strategic planning meeting; Implement the agreed upon strategic plan within one month of strategic planning meeting; Implement major station survey tactics one month prior to survey).
7) Involve in staff management & development (Attend station monitoring; Aircheck on air talent weekly; Aircheck breakfast daily; Trained one staff member as a Music Executive back up; Trained breakfast producer; Review & plan on air content; Attend & conduct team meeting; Attend compliance & ensure announcers are aware of compliance issues)
8) Attend product meeting-Weekly report &breakfast focus-EPG ( writing info for EPG &send it monthly basis to Astro).
9) Assist and stand in for station CM during his/ her absence or when needed.
10) Generate ideas &implement music for Special Occasion/special project Attend station events when required.
11) To promote station in a positive light at all times.
12) Customer Services :To respond to all queries from Gen/Prog/Promo Managers/
13) Attend CSM when needed Attend sales meeting with client when needed.
14) Ensure all activities from programmes to content delivered by announcers on the networks are fully compliant with Malaysian Broadcasting Codes.
