Project Planner

Responsible for all scheduling and planning activities as per contract requirements or Client Requirements. - Translate the scope of work of the project into activities and prepare and update project progress reports. - Prepare and update the Project’s Programs, comparison between actual and planned activities. - Provide advice and assistance to the Manager(s) and other personnel as required to meet program requirements. - Identify contract variations related to program changes and instigate documentation to the Consultant. - Ensure that the project has a program which satisfies the Consultant requirements, and which accurately reflects the current status and future intent for all project activities to ensure planned and orderly completion. - Update the program at regular intervals. But more frequently if necessary to reflect additions and changes to the progress of the work. - Provide advice to procurement department to coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that delivery deadlines are met. - Develop, in coordination with the Construction Manager, the time schedule for the project civil works, based on the project time duration. - Prepare a work program, critical paths, and target milestones based on the time schedule. - Monitor milestones with work production on-site and advise the Project Manager. - Coordinate and provide solutions to the Project Manager regarding planning and control schedule. - Present catch-up plan and activities to recuperate lost progress due to delays. - Participate in internal project meetings with Project Managers, staff, and subcontractors raising weaknesses and delays in the time schedule. - Collect all Subcontractors’ Baseline Schedules, Manpower & Equipment plans, and incorporate them into the Contractor planning Schedule for monitoring. - Provide corrective action to subcontractors to attain planned results based on a baseline schedule. - Any other tasks as assigned by Management from time to time.
