**Job Summary**:
We seek a talented and dedicated Journalist/Writer to join our dynamic team. As a Journalist/Writer, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing articles, news stories, and features. Your role will encompass interviewing sources, conducting thorough research, meeting deadlines, and ensuring accuracy and quality in all written materials.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:
Content Creation:

- Research and write engaging and informative articles, news stories, features, and other content types for print and digital platforms.
- Ensure all content is accurate, well-researched, and meets the publication’s standards and guidelines.

Interviewing and Research:

- Conduct interviews with sources, including industry experts, public figures, and ordinary individuals, to gather information and insights.
- Perform thorough research using various sources, including documents, archives, databases, and online resources.

Editing and Proofreading:

- Edit and proofread articles and other written content to ensure clarity, coherence, and correctness.
- Work with editors and other team members to revise and improve content as needed.

Content Planning:

- Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm and plan content ideas and editorial calendars.
- Stay updated with current events, trends, and developments to generate relevant and timely story ideas.

Meeting Deadlines:

- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and produce high-quality content within tight schedules.
- Handle multiple writing assignments simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

Audience Engagement:

- Engage with readers and audiences through comments, social media, and other platforms to build a connection and receive feedback.
- Monitor and analyze audience engagement metrics to understand the impact and reach of published content.

**Job Specification**:
**You are/have**:

- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to conduct interviews and interact with sources and team members.
- Proficiency in research techniques and the ability to gather information from diverse sources.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with digital content management systems, social media platforms, and other relevant tools.

**Languages**:
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal). Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

**Education**:
**Work Experience**:
Proven experience as a journalist, writer, or similar role, demonstrating a portfolio of published work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
