Primary Function
Directs and supervises all field service and retail operations carrying out responsibilities efficiently to ensure technical assistance and information is provided to customers, prevent or resolve problems with product or service performance. Monitors and maintains inventory control of merchandise or parts at optimized level, expenses and loss control, profit management, budget planning and supervision in the overall retail operational of the branch as a whole.

Main

**Responsibilities**:
1. Directs the overall activities of retail workshop operations and provide specialty technical services, computer diagnosis, and warranty claim, etc, which, inter alia, includes merchandising, display, sales, inventory levels, maintenance of cash receipts, record keeping and preparation of pertinent financial reports on branches’ performances.

2. Plans and coordinates all retail sales and service programs; manages and coordinates special events like breakdown services as well as attending and handling customers’ complaints.

3. Plans and implements shop merchandising, layout and customer traffic flow so as to maximize sales, customer satisfaction, appearance, image and ergonomics for customers.

4. Manages selling and marketing activities, customer service activities and staff competence at point of sales, so as to optimize and sustain sales performance with a view to increased sales volume to meet Company targets for retention growth and profitability as well as customer satisfaction.

5. Manages cash and payment systems in accordance with company procedures and policies, at all times with staff and customer safety as the uppermost priority.

6. Coordinates all matters related to receiving records, trade-in, invoices, transfers, storage and damage reports and purchase orders.

7. Manages, maintains and report as necessary all merchandise and non-merchandise stock.

8. Seeks and continuously develop knowledge and information about competitor activity, pricing and tactics, and communicate this to relevant departments in the Company.

9. Ensures customer relations are handled in a courteous and professional manner, both from oneself and other employees.

10. Liaise with and utilize support from suppliers, merchandisers and other partners as required.

11. Manages and maintains effectiveness of IT and other essential in-store systems.

12. Undertakes and manages all safety measures to upkeep and protect the condition of all Company assets, equipments and fixtures and also ensure cleanliness of shop premises at all material time.

13. Plans work schedules, ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate staffing including backup staffing, workspace and facilities for performance of duties and in event of emergency, is expected to be on duty during weekends and holidays.

14. Manages and motivate staff, recruit staff, train and develop staff, according to company policies and employment laws, and ensure relevant HR procedure are followed (appraisals, discipline, grievance, etc).

15. Recommends various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, termination, performance, appraisals, increments, allowances, commissions, promotions, transfers and vacation schedules.

16. Resolves personnel problems, handle complaints, infractions, etc., referred and take necessary action to resolve these situations.

17. Manages health and safety, security and emergency systems, capabilities, staff and customer awareness according to company policy and relevant law.

18. Liaise with external agencies and authorities as necessary (advertising, PR, recruitment, training, insurance, fire services, police, local council, health and safety inspectors, etc).

19. Attends meetings and contribute to company strategy and policy-making as required.

20. Contributes as a committee member of the management of the company on managerial and organizational matters such as corporate activities, issues of ethics, legality, safety, duty of care, etc., in addition to the normal functional responsibilities.

21. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
