JOB DESCRIPTION Role in Technical and Advisory: 1. Technical Manager in providing technical input aligned with IPPF Standards and relating to Governance, Risk Management and Controls to technical engagements. 2. Educational Development Products management. Role in Quality Assurance: 1. Quality Assurance Manager in executing external quality assessment review engagement via assigned roles by the Head, Technical & Quality Assurance. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities in Technical & Advisory: 1. To write and submit the IIAM formal response on the received consultation paper from the regulatory and/or professional body to the Head, Technical & Quality Assurance within 5 working days. Liaising with other professional/regulatory bodies on technical matters relating to any consultation papers requires the Institute's feedback. 2. To write updates or changes made to Statements, e.g., Statement of Risk Management and Internal Control Statement, and relevant Acts relating to the internal auditing profession as assigned. 3. RESEARCH/TECHNICAL PROJECTS - To coordinate 3 project management (i.e., Capacity Building for the Future Internal Auditors, Publication of the FAQ, and Guidance of Internal Auditors to Review Sustainability Statement) approved for Term 2023/24. - To coordinate and execute research/surveys via Survey Monkey Tools. - To execute marketing activities, liaises with 3rd parties/joint venture partners for the project management’s related workshops, designing and printing activities. - Compilation of results. - To organise the announcement of the results/outcome and publications. 4. EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PRODUCTS MANAGEMENT 5. PROVISION OF TECHNICAL AND ADVISORY SERVICES - Keep abreast of the profession's development and disseminate key information to the members through proper channels. - Attend to technical queries from members. - Assist the Publication Committee in reviewing the technical contents of articles to be published in the quarterly newsletter, Keep in Touch. - To look out for updates and assist in preparing the e-techline. 6. QUALITY ASSESSMENT REVIEW SERVICES - To assist in reviewing preparation work for QAR services by the Senior Executive, Technical & Quality Assurance. - To execute QAR engagement via the role assigned by the Head, Technical & Quality Assurance. - To assist in the drafting of the QAR Report to prepare the 1st, 2nd /Final Exit Meeting and AC Presentation Deck aligned with the IPPF and other benchmarking materials. - To assist in consolidating of QAR Working Papers and Supporting Attachments Folder for review by Head, Technical & Quality Assurance. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 1. A recognised degree and possess a Certified Internal Auditor certification. 2. Proficient in English (both written and verbal) 3. Able to conduct research and prepare reports. 4. IT skills. 5. Strong analytical skills 6. Problem-solving skills. 7. Negotiation skills. 8. Time management skills. 9. Project management skills. 10. Presentation skills. 11. Interpersonal and communication skills.
