**Job description** ABOUT THE JOB**

To support the Com&In team in securing high quality carpentry and paintwork throughout the store in a simple, safe and cost-and time-effective way. This will contribute to consumers' perception of the IKEA brand and the IKEA retailer as a high-quality and affordable home furnishing specialist.

**YOUR ASSIGNMENT**
- Working with your colleagues to make sure the store is always in excellent shape.
- Planning and ordering materials and resources, ensuring accurate costs are sought and agreed in order to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
- Following work briefs agreed with colleagues to implement all store media, such as wall constructions, floor laying, painting, tiling and the building of complex furniture installations.
- Contributing to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.

**Qualification**
- Required skill(s): Can read drawings, taking measurements, cutting & shaping material accordingly.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- A strong passion for quality, craftsmanship and home furnishing.
- A practical hands-on approach to your responsibilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A desire to seek out opportunities to make improvements in the way we work.
- Good personal discipline and an ability to meet set deadlines.
