What will you be doing?

As a Project Manager, Local Material Optimization, your key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the project owner to define the business case of the project.- Working with the project owner, project key stakeholders, and the project team to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.- Planning project tasks, schedules, and budgets in coordination with the project team, considering interdependencies with related projects and other impactful activities.- Managing all project activities, such as creating and maintaining the project organization, developing project plans, allocating tasks, arranging skills and resources, creating and controlling project budgets, executing schedules, and collaborating with stakeholders.- Delivering the agreed scope of the project within the established schedule, budget, and quality, achieving targets related to customer value, business case, solution fitness for purpose, and compliance with technical codes and standards.-
- Leading, motivating, and coaching the project team.- Monitoring and managing the project's progress, business case, and realization of expected benefits against the project plan.- Managing interdependencies with other projects and service releases/sprints within the program.- Identifying and proactively mitigating project risks with relevant stakeholders.- Establishing regular, decision-oriented steering group meetings.- Driving effective collaboration and communication with project stakeholders and the project team.- Acting as an escalation point for project-related issues/risks within the project steering group.- Serving as a secretary in project steering group meetings.- Providing feedback on the performance of project resources to their line managers.- Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.- Ensuring the availability of required resources and competencies in collaboration with related line managers.- Controlling project costs and managing the project scope.- Preparing and handing over IT services to the support organization.- Overseeing the creation and storage of relevant project documentation in the project document repository.- Ensuring the quality of project deliverables, including organizing proper testing and documenting test results.- Documenting data migration (where applicable) and defining decommissioning plans for legacy systems.- Implementing and realizing the project business case as planned.- Meeting project objectives within the approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality.- Adhering to established KONE project management methodologies and tools.- Timely reporting to the project steering group and relevant project stakeholders.- Ensuring stakeholder and project team satisfaction.

- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach project teams effectively.- Proactive monitoring of project progress, business case realization, and identification and mitigation of project risks.- Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills, serving as an escalation point for project-related issues within the project steering group.- Expertise in overseeing the creation and storage of project documentation, ensuring the quality of deliverables through proper testing and documentation.- Adherence to established KONE project management methodologies and tools, with timely reporting to the project steering group and relevant stakeholders.- Commitment to stakeholder and project team satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
