As an Admin cum Clinical Assistant, you play a pivotal role in supporting the efficient operation of a medical practice or healthcare facility. Combining administrative duties with clinical responsibilities, you ensure smooth workflow and provide essential assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Administrative Duties**:

- Manage patient appointments,
- Handle patient inquiries, both in person and over the phone, and provide information about services, procedures, and insurance coverage.
- Handle billing and insurance claims, process payments, and assist patients with financial inquiries.
- **Clinical Support**:

- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, stocked with necessary supplies, and ready for patient use.
- Assist healthcare providers during medical examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens for testing, and dressing wounds under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
- **Communication and Coordination**:

- Liaise between patients, healthcare providers, and other medical staff to facilitate smooth patient care and communication.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists, diagnostic tests, and hospital admissions as required.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacies, laboratories, and other healthcare service providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- **Documentation and Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of patient encounters, treatments, and test results.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and clinic protocols for record keeping and confidentiality.
- **Office Management**:

- Help with general office tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning documents, and organizing paperwork.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in both administrative and clinical roles within a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical & procedures is an advantage, and basic patient care practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Knows how to operate computer well

**Education and Training**:

- SPM, STPM, diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Posses own transport
- can work under rotational shift

**Working Conditions**:

- Typical office hours with occasional evenings or weekends depending on the healthcare facility's schedule.
- Potential exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials; adherence to safety protocols required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
