JOB SUMMARY - Responsible for managing Acquisition, Cataloguing & Processing, Lending Services and Reference Services. - Able to multi-task and committed. - Accountable for actively pursuing ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of services and facilities. - Maintain a safe & study area for library users. - Familiar with the Library Management System KOHA. Main Task - Ensure that the Lending Services Desk is operating as required by seating at the Lending Desk. - Preparation of Accreditation documentation. - Handle lending transactions - Prepare weekly/monthly reports - Ensure maintenance of shelving activities - Preservation & conservation of library materials in all formats - Monitor and ensure the tidiness of reading and leisure areas - Ensure the security of Library areas - Monitor and review the delivery of Reserve and Multimedia services - Prepare and handle Accreditation visit/Audit (MQA, MyQUEST and other relevant bodies) - Assist the Head of Department with the annual budget. REQUIREMENTS - Bachelors Degree in Library & Information Management or any related field. - Fresh graduates are encourage to apply. - A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. - Well organized and have high attention to details.
