- As an Accountant at BID Operations, your_ _responsibilities will include assisting the Head of Accounting in day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in accounting to develop their skills and contribute to the financial success of the organization._

**Your role will involve the following**:

- Responsible for the full set of accounting including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Handle all aspects of the financial accounting matters including day-to-day running of the Finance operations.
- Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and filing to support all accounting entries.
- Prepare balance sheet control accounts reconciliation and ensure balances reported in financial statements are completed and accurate.
- Responsible for month-end closing, journal entries for prepayment and accrual for all expenses General Ledgers related.
- Assisting in monthly management reporting and preparing budgets.
- Advising on tax implications of accounting treatments and assisting in general tax activities of clients.
- Liaise with 3rd parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, customers and suppliers on financial matters.
- Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Min 3 years of working experience in the related field is preferred.
- Good proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, IF Functions, etc) and other Microsoft Office Programs.
- Experienced with the XERO system is a plus.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Good working attitude, strong communication, organization and teamwork skill.
