**Your contribution to TenneT**:
The Sub Project Lead Quality is working as part of the client’s site team on the shipyard of MMHE Malaysia for the construction works of the project and is in charge to oversee the delivery of three 2GW topsides and jackets. You are responsible for all the quality aspects of the construction works within the project and ensures that the quality (incl. documentation, equipment, process robustness, etc.) is meeting all requirements (incl. contract, technical standard and best practice). You approve the contractor’s quality in terms of processes, design and execution aspects. Besides you are also responsible to ensure decision making with respect to QA/QC discussions, NCR evaluation, inspection coordination and to provide all relevant information required by the Lead Site Manager. The Sub Project Lead Quality - Yard will work together with a team of inspectors and discipline engineers. This team will together monitor the contractor’s activities and has the responsibility to safeguard the contractual requirements.

You will report to the Lead Site Manager and align with overall Quality Manager in the project, based in The Netherlands.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Asset quality and production-site supervision;
- Review all quality deliverables from the construction yard against the Employer’s Requirements (subcontractors of the EPCI contractor);
- Coordinate all inspection activities at construction yard from client side;
- Coordinate a team of inspectors;
- Provide QC support for the site team;
- Organize regular QC meetings with the contractor;
- Align on all the Inspection and Test Plans with the contractor for the construction phase;
- Responsible for monitoring the quality of the works;
- Set-up and participate in risk based inspections and audits;
- Keep an overview of and monitor all quality related problems on the yard;
- Be responsible for and support the implementation of Employer’s Requirements on the yard with regards to welding, coating, piping, material selection and execution of these activities;
- Monitor the contractor’s/vendor’s Non Conformity (NC) management with particular attention to major/critical NC correction implementation, follow up and closure during construction;
- Align with the EPCI contractor about the inspections, ITPs and quality issues;
- Preparation of quality status reports;
- Check on site as-built documentation.

**Your profile and background**:

The required competencies for this role are:

- Extensive experience with offshore projects in the Oil & Gas, Renewables or Shipping industry during construction phase;
- Experience in reviewing and drafting QC plans and ITP’s;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in QC inspection role;
- Knowledge of International Codes and Standards (i.e. API, ASME, ASTM, AWS, DNV, EN);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- You have strong problem solving skills - not only identify issues, but solve them as well;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing;
- Speaking Dutch is an advantage, but not mandatory;
- Experience with general outfitting and equipment inspections;
- Certified Welding Inspector according to CSWIP 3.2 or equivalent is a plus;
- Certified Coating Inspector according with NACE CIP Level 2 or equivalent is a plus;
- NDT Qualifications is a plus.

**This will be our challenge**:

- Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.**Additional information**:

- The weekly working time is 40 hours;
- 43 holidays per annual on a full time basis;
- Job grade 9 according TenneT TSO CAO;
- Type of contract is temporary for 12 months and a consecutive contract will be indefinite;
- First 3-6 months will be based in Arnhem, The Netherlands before moving to Johor Bahru, Malaysia on a residential basis;
