Under broad direction, coordinates materials demand planning requirements to provide seamless integration of procurement and operations processes across multiple locations and product service lines (PSLs). Gathers feedback from PSL and Business Development (BD) staff, manufacturing personnel, internal and external suppliers, and logistics personnel and uses those inputs to determine appropriate inventory levels to meet the business requirements. Develop strategies to optimize inventory performance by analyzing market data and inventory trends. Will be responsible for planning activities such as review of and recommendations for material requirements planning (MRP) settings, forecasting and management of inventory levels. Additionally, role will provide coaching and training to Material Control Specialists and in some cases serve as team lead for small work groups or project teams ranging from 3-10 employees. Will have direct impact and responsibility to meet financial goals and objectives for the business. Requires completion of a two year degree; a four year undergraduate degree in supply chain, engineering/applied math, finance/accounting or business is preferred. Six years related experience in materials management which includes experience in procurement or logistics or a four year degree plus 2 years related work experience required. Strong computer skills and analytical abilities to resolve problems required.

**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities**: Responsible for overall Inventory planning and balance sheet metrics on the Inventory management the support include: ordering, processing goods issues /receipts, coordination of inventory reduction and redeployment opportunities Collaborates with PSL and Business Development (BD) staff, manufacturing personnel, internal and external suppliers, and logistics personnel to ensure inventory levels meet business requirements. Ensures inventory planning is appropriate to minimize surplus inventory and control costs. Responsible for planning activities such as review of forecasts generated by inventory planning tools, ensuring that regular inventory planning meetings are held and that actions arising from these meetings are executed Responsible for ensuring that planning processes are adhered to and that planning tools are used effectively. Responsible for meeting financial goals and objectives for the business.
Prepare Monthly Inventory report, review and closure of action plans
Prepare replenishment plans to ensure demand and supply balance
Maintain Material master data and Master planning report
Tracking and updating inventory replenishment shipment status and collaborate with logistics department in expediting shipments
Reconcile open Orders and Invoice receipt/Goods Receipt variances
Lead monthly inventory meeting with Product service Manager

**Basic Qualifications**: Degree in any discipline, preferably industrial engineering background

**Total Years of Experience**: minimum 2 years related work experience in materials management and inventory planning with basic knowledge in project management.

**Desired/Preferred Expertise**:
SAP Literate and intermediate knowledge in MS office (Excel/PowerPoint)
Strong computer skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills
