
Kindergarten Teacher

**Job Summary**:
The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for young children. The teacher will develop and implement curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. The teacher will also assess and monitor student progress, communicate with parents and guardians, and work collaboratively with other educators and staff.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Curriculum Development and Implementation**:
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Integrate a variety of teaching methods, including play-based learning, to engage students.
- Utilize resources and materials that foster learning and development.
- **Classroom Management**:
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and interaction.
- Establish and enforce classroom rules and routines to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive discipline techniques.
- **Student Assessment and Support**:
- Assess student progress through observations, portfolios, and formal assessments.
- Identify students' individual learning needs and adapt instruction accordingly.
- Provide additional support and resources to students with special needs or learning challenges.
- **Parent and Guardian Communication**:
- Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities.
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss students' development and address any concerns.
- Involve parents in classroom activities and school events.
- **Professional Development**:
- Stay current with educational best practices, trends, and research through ongoing professional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share strategies and improve teaching practices.
- Participate in school meetings, committees, and events.
- **Administrative Duties**:
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and other required documentation.
- Prepare progress reports and report cards.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
