Housekeeping Executive

Oversee and assist in the daily overall operation of Housekeeping of guest room, laundry and public area.
- Ensure cleanliness in all areas of the hotel. Check rooms and all public areas daily.
- Liaise and follow up with Supervisors on daily duties, assignments and log entries.
- Assist in compilation of duty roster, ensure daily record and current system are accurate.
- Plan work schedules according to forecast and functions.
- Schedule out monthly projects for room, public areas and laundry. This is to be communicated to and follow up with supervisors.
- Ensure standard procedures for key control are followed.
- Assist in developing and maintaining an active job training programme in all sections.
- Monitor productivity to ensure all staff are meeting the required standards of performance.
- To coach, counsel and discipline staff if necessary. To lead and motivate staff, promoting excellence, teamwork and high morale.
- Hold regular communication meetings with Housekeeping staffs and ensure guest satisfaction are achieved.
- Ensure all operational standards are followed and maintained.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints, request or enquiries. Investigate, action and feedback to guest immediately.
- Maintain communication lines with Engineering and Front Office regarding room defects status.
- Carry out quality control test of working processes, surveys to improve efficiency, reduce cost and produce better service to hotel and guest when required.
- Maximise productivity without increasing cost. Control overtime
- Monitor checklist by Supervisors on machinery maintenance and equipments issued to staff.
- Ensure adequate requisitions and control usage of all chemicals and supplies of all sections.
- Avoid wastage, assist in controlling of cost.
- Compile monthly inventory according to Housekeeping schedule.
- Maintain accurate records as inventory par stock, for all operating supplies, machinery, linen, bearing in mind occupancy rate.
- Assist where necessary in the preparation of budgets for Housekeeping expenditure within the budgeted guideline.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed by staff.
- Attend trainings and meetings when directed by the superior.
- To carry out other duties as directed by the superior.
- To complete assignment and feedback to the superior.

Pay: From RM3,200.00 per month
