Job Functions, Duties & Responsibilities

Your job functions, duties & responsibilities shall cover the following:

- 1. To receive works instruction and perform as per detail given.

2. To perform high quality weldment.

3. To perform welding in effective way and control the wastage to minimum.

4. To preserve your electrode in good condition and take care of welding set that you use.

5. To create and take care of distribution control.

6. Always to look for continuous improvement.

7. To operate and test the machine efficiency.

8. To report to Production Manager or maintenance technician of any welding set problems for rectification.

9. To teach and advice new comer for the operation of machines.

10. To recommend any methods or tools for the effective and sound welding.

11. To receive approved drawing from Production Manager.

12. To check working drawing before fabrication.

13. To report to Production Manager in case of any drawing error or fitting problem.

14. To learn and operate machinery.

15. To plan and estimate time taken for the job.

16. To practice in high quality fitting product and to exercise maximum usage of steel and minimum

wastage.

17. To do your own quality control.

18. To create your own jigs and tools to facilitate job function or job requirement.

19. To operate machinery under approved list and to solve any incoming problem or difficulty independently.

20. To create any new methods or sequence during fit up and forward to Production Manager for discussion.

21. To receive work instruction from Production Manager and assist to any fitter or welder for job

functioning.

22. To have initiative and cooperation to perform your duty together with them.

23. To give prompt action to instruction given.

24. To perform grinding or power brushing with quality conscious.

25. To learn the production skill through fitters and welder during job functioning.

26. To follow and obey works instruction as per company rules and regulations.

27. To participate housekeeping in workshop.

28. To suggest any ideas if profitable to the job functioning although he/she is only a general worker/helper.

29. To operate any machine with the recommendation from fitter or welder prior to given approval from

Production Manager.

30. To learn and practice the operating of machinery with the approval from Production Manager.

Work Experience Required, Other Attributes & Pre-requisites:

- Able to work under pressure and work independently.
- Able to work 6 days a week at Nilai,Negeri Sembilan. -Have experience in steel structure fabrication work is added advantage.

**Salary**: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
