Supply Chain and Customer Care Manager

REPORTING TO: GENERAL MANAGER
**Operations Manager**
This position is part of the Senior Management Team and holds the responsibility for the Logistics, Warehouse, and Customer Service thereby ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain management. This role includes daily operations, project work, and process improvement activities.
**Your Responsibilities include**:
- Overseeing the inventory management process, defining local strategies for appropriate inventory levels, and planning future capacity requirements
- Develop demand forecasts using historical sales data and statistical forecasting techniques, working closely with sales and marketing to obtain information on business intelligence to generate the rolling demand plan.
- Strategically plan, manage, and evaluate the 3PL service provider and oversee warehouse compliance for inventory management, cycle counting, product handling, and other services as required.
- Develop and maintain an efficient system that ensures all elements of the domestic & international freight requirements meet business needs and customer expectations.
- Enforce strict compliance and adherence with laws and import regulations.
- Active coordination with internal regional and corporate headquarters logistics contacts and other external resources such as freight forwarders, customs brokers, and responsible government agencies.
- Develop and ensure that the established policies and controls, KPIs, monitoring and reporting systems, and procedures are followed.
- Meeting or exceeding established goals relative to on-time delivery and shipping accuracy performance for internal and external customer shipments.
- Develop the organization to be the central customer contact point at Karcher for providing and delivering customer-centric support and assistance before, during, and after-sales activities.
- Responsible for the management and execution of all customer care activities.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in any related field
- Minimum of 5-6 years in the Management level of logistics and operations experience, ideally in an MNC
- Proven track record of leadership and managing a team
- Experience with customs clearance, sea freight forwarding, and local logistics operation knowledge
- Possessing SAP knowledge will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel skill
- Analytical with a keen eye for processes and efficiencies
- Possess good business acumen to understand business development
- Strong command of English and good communication skills
- Ability to establish good collaboration across departments
- Must be proactive and independent in his/her work, able to perform under pressure.
