Payroll Associate

It's an exciting time to be part of IFF, as we are offering rewarding employment in Penang, Malaysia, as **Payroll Associate**

**Responsibilities**:

- Responding to payroll inquiries from employees
- Validate (with supporting document) all SAP employee information that is passed from Human Resource to payroll are accurately and with appropriate backup required for auditing purposes.
- Preparing and providing all required payroll and related reports needed for month end and payroll general ledger posting.
- Respond to internal or external auditors and local tax authorities’ inquiries for payroll-related matter
- Responsible in validating all payroll reports & request for payroll fund request.
- Ensuring on time payroll payment is complied with local statutory requirements & company’s policies pay.
- Responsible for review and accurate completion of periodic and year-end reporting information.
- Serve as point of contact for payroll and timekeeping system, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Additional tasks and projects as assigned.

**Job Requirements**:

- A Diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Tax or any other relevant discipline.
- Strong knowledge of local personal tax regulations and implications
- Well
- versed HR principles and local laws will be added advantage.
- Firm understanding of payroll processing principles.
- Strong familiarity with payroll and, time and attendance tools
- SAP / ERP systems, Finance and Accounting system knowledge
- Excellent communication skills especially fluency in English; additional languages fluency is an advantage.
- 3-5 years proven track record in payroll and timekeeping management experience in manufacturing industry.
- Experience in working across functional areas to accomplish objectives.
- SAP and advance Excel experience preferred.
- People oriented with meticulous in data preparation.
- Excellent communication skill with different level of employees.
- Complete assigned tasks rapidly with minimum supervision.
