Our client is renowned company in the **Petrochemical **industry. Located in **Ara Damansara**, they are looking for a seasoned **Financial Controller **to spearhead their business goals

**SALARY : RM25,000 (negotiable)**

**Job Title : Financial Controller**
**Job Grade : EG6 (Assistant General Manager I)**
**Department : Finance and Account**
**Qualification : Possess at least a Degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant business studies.**

**CHINESE SPEAKING CANDIDATE**

**Possess a Professional qualification such as ACCA, MICPA or CPA equivalent. A master’s degree is a plus.**

**Experiences**:

- Have at least ten (10) years of working experience, with eight (8) years relevant experience in general/senior management capacity, leading the finance function.
- Proven experience as CFO / Financial Controller/ Senior Finance Manager.
- Track record of building and developing strong finance teams.

**Skills**:
1. Possess at least a Degree in Finance/Accounting. Professional qualification such as ACCA, MICPA or CPA equivalent is preferred.
2. To be an active and committed team player with strong leadership qualities and a track record of building and developing solid finance teams.
3. Has an excellent analytical mind with problem-solving skills.
4. Has good interpersonal skills with an excellent attitude.
5. To be able to command both Bahasa Malaysia and English. Conversing and writing in Mandarin is a distinct advantage for regional business requirements.
6. The incumbent must have an in-depth understanding of the approved Accounting Standards to ensure full adherence and compliance with all relevant tax laws requirements.
7. To be able to produce various dimensions of financial and Management reporting accurately and on a timely basis to meet Corporate, Management, Board and various user requirements.
8. Ability to handle ever-changing organisation dynamics (change in people, additional products, change in organisational structure, new joint marketing arrangements, new business arrangements).
9. Able to analyse and justify the Company's key performance indicators measures and monitor various initiatives under company-wide Cost Pillar.
10. To maintain and provide fast and accurate information required by Management in various forms within a short time frame.

**Job Description, Function & Responsibility**:
**A) Purpose**

1. To establish and implement the full scope of accounting and finance functions, trade financing, planning, systems and procedures of the company's to capture and add value to the achievement of the Company's goal and objectives.
2. To establish consistent policies and procedures in line with all regulations, governmental and the company's policies and guidelines, thus contributing to the realisation of the objectives and strategies of the Company and Groupwide.

**B) Annual Budget**

Lead and review the overall development and timely submission of the Company's annual consolidated budget and financial performance to Management and Board through systematic interfacing and translation of Business Plan, and setting clear guidelines and schedules in line with the Company Direction.

**C) Financial Services**

1. To manage and provide financial services advisory and reporting and implement an effective financial system.
2. To monitor all Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Banking & Treasury activities and ensure all liabilities are discharged, and assets are safeguarded following the company's procedures and guidelines and practice of good governance.
3. To plan and manage banking facilities' utilisation and ensure sufficiency by monitoring cash flow forecasts and providing banking solutions or recommendations to support operations worldwide.
4. To devise strategies for the investment of any unutilised or excess funds to gain maximum returns for the Company.

**D) Financial Planning**

To lead financial planning and coordinate monthly/yearly finance activities (audit, annual budget, account consolidation report and management account) to ensure in accordance with related requirements (e.g., statutory, the company's Planning and Budget cycle and/other).

**E) Financial Review**

Promote improvement in business performance through periodical assessment of business exposures and measurement of performance indicators based on the financial performance of the Company and provision of advice and recommendations to the Board of directors.

**F) Management Reporting**

To lead the review and analyse the periodic financial and Management reports submission to Managing Director within an agreed timeline and present quarterly to Board to facilitate decision making.

**G) Audit**

To lead the review and validate audit schedules related to General Ledger and Taxation to facilitate year-end audit exercise to ensure timely submission of audited financial statements to SSM and tax agent for tax filing purpos
