**The company**

Our client is a logistics service provider that offers a range of multimodal transportation services and third-party logistics.

The Account Manager will focus on maintaining ownership of existing accounts to enhance customer service and to increase business opportunities. The Account Manager should demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to achieve performance objectives even in dynamic market conditions set by the management.

**The Account Manager will be responsible to**:

- Manage, maintain, and maximize growth potential of assigned Key Accounts.
- Manage relationships with a specific number of MNC customers and prospects in a particular sector of strategic sectors, acting as the sole point of contact for each customer.
- Ensure that Key Account engagements with customer are in line with all relevant stakeholders within the company including country, regional, and global levels.
- Contribute to the country Key Accounts team budget through a healthy pipeline, strong renewal rates for existing customers, and increase share of wallet as per Sales Management target.
- Develop a customer development and win plan for critical customers in the assigned portfolio and engage in country/regional/global customer opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Drive consistent customer performance reviews and align with all relevant internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and beyond.
- Conduct research, gather relevant customer date for RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and prepare documents for customer implementation to ensure smooth operational handover and meet customer expectations through customer profile and SOPs.
- Maintain regular communication with the company’s sponsor in informing of account activities, in particular business-critical matter, etc.
- Ensure defined Sales Index / KPIs / parameters are aligned with management targets.
- Ensure alignment with all the company’s internal stakeholders and be the point of contact on commercial perspective for all the company’s client base and prospects.
- Effectively and strategically pursue sales leads, leading to strong and positive conversion efforts.
- Ensure timely and efficient follow-up on customer enquiries, tenders, and information requests, and promptly response to internal stakeholders.
- Manage and resolve all account issues using continuous improvement principles to enhance service levels.
- Enhance customer satisfaction through formal feedback and surveys, and utilized the designated CRM tool, Atmosphere, to its full potential.
- Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management.

**The Requirements**
- Diploma / Degree in Business or Logistics and Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- At least 5 - 8 years of sales experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to details.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Ability to qualify, close and develop new and existing business.
- Able to travel overseas when required.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 5 years (preferred)
