Responsibilities: - Preparation of financial reports for management’s review of the monthly group’s results, annual budget & quarterly forecasts, and to prepare business presentation to management. - Provide timely and accurate business analysis, management & financial reporting to the stakeholders. - Responsible for delivery of accurate and timely monthly financial and management reports. - Manage and oversee daily operations of Finance Department including month-end and year-end process, accounts payable and receivable, cash payments and receipts and general ledger. - Responsible for management of treasury and credit functions for the group, to ensure sufficient liquidity fund for operational needs and timely settlement of due liabilities for the region. - Establish and enforce Company’s Finance policies and Group policy. - Work with the Group’s auditor, tax agent, company secretary, etc. to ensure the Group’s statutory reporting, submissions, etc. are completed within established deadlines and liaise closely with banker on funding and end financing facilities. - Compliance with authority, regulatory, licensing and taxation reporting and filing requirements. - Initiate process improvement to enhance administrative and operation. Participate and support any ad-hoc projects. - Have comprehensive knowledge and adhere to company law, regulatory and reporting requirements. - Prepare other ad-hoc assignments e.g. forecasting, feasibility studies, cash flow projections. - Developing good working relationships with internal HOD and necessary stakeholders/ external contacts such as auditors, solicitors etc. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting / Commerce or equivalent with professional qualification such as ACCA/MIA/CPA. - At least with 15 years of accounting/ finance experiences. - Minimum 8 - 10 years of working experiences with minimum 5 years performing a supervisory role. - Must be meticulous, pro-active ad be able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees. - Strong leadership and sense of confidentiality and business ethics. - Must be highly organized, enthusiastic, self-motivated, multi-tasking & work under pressure, detail & dateline oriented professional with good people skill, people manager experience is an advantage. - Proficient in financial analysis and budgeting. - Proficient in managing a team of finance & accounting personnel. - Good interpersonal skills and confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders. - Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize a demanding workload.
