Procument Logistics Executive

Kulim, Malaysia BEST STAPLES SDN BHD Full time

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for sourcing, selecting and negotiating with suppliers to strive the best purchase in terms of pricing, quality, reliability and service.
- Placing orders and expediting deliveries with supplier on urgent basis
- Follow up on materials complaint with user and suppliers
- Performs supplier risk analysis and recommend alternate sources.
- Monitors stock movement and stock quantity, and replenishes orders if necessary.
- Handling export and import shipment arrangement and documentation
- Coordination with forwarder agents for shipment booking and preparation of shipping documents to ensure smooth flow of shipments.
- To follow-up to ensure on time delivery & logistic documentation.
- Tracking, monitoring, and updating order progress and delivery statuses to the sales team and customers, promptly resolving any issues or delays.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least 1-2 years of logistic working experience in the manufacturing/shipping industry.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision, analytical and a good team player.
- Computer literate and with fair spoken & written English & Bahasa Melayu.
- Good knowledge of relevant logistic & custom arrangement, conditions, practices and procedures.
- Mandarin speaking & writing is an added advantage for this position.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
