Director of It

**Director of Information Technology - Bayan Lepas, Penang**

Will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of information technology systems, cyber security and operations within Startus Automation.

You will play a crucial role in **aligning IT strategies** with our business objectives to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Develop **overall plan and annual budgets** to support the demand (ie **resource planning, infra**, etc).
- **Define and execute our digital strategy and solutions roadmap**. This role will work closely with a cross-disciplinary team, including technology, business team, marketing and country teams with a goal to drive digital adoption.
- Continually drive products towards a meaningful balance between user needs**, business objectives and technical feasibility**.
- Manage a team of **IT staff from Infrastructure team, Software Development team, Application Support team** and **IT Project team to deliver IT project that align with CEO’s vision and direction.**
- Responsible for **all decisions related to financial, staffing, strategy, productivity, stakeholder collaboration, talents** and management of IT division
- Provide **guidance and consultation to Infrastructure team** on remediation approaches and activities.
- Develop business case justifications and **cost analysis for IT spending**
- Develop an end-user services including **helpdesk and technical support services.**
- Report directly to CEO.
- Improve on **current system / develop a new system of ERP, HRMS and BI project implementation**
- Manage project capital and **IT operational yearly financial budget.**
- Lead and track project milestones include coordinating internal and external resources in according to the System Development Life Cycle and implementation plan.

**Qualification**:

- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another related field with advanced course experience in mathematics, computer programming, and software development
- Min 10 years’ experience managing **employees in IT field and manufacturing environment.**
- Sound working knowledge of **IT operations, systems, and developments.**
- Strong leadership and **project management skills**.
- Proven experience as IT director or similar role
- Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications

**Salary**: From RM18,000.00 per month
