**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for providing a centralised e-KYC & AML process across the bank to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- To execute a dedicated internal e-KYC & AML function for the customer on-boarding process at AEON Bank.
- Ensure e-KYC, CDD, EDD, Sanction Screening and Watchlist procedures and the
internal operating manual are applied in compliance with BNM regulations, and adopt best practices with regard to compliance and operational standards.
- Process, review and verify customer data.
- Input customer data and upload documents into the KYC system.
- Perform sanction screening.
- Communicate with Business & Compliance units for further documents, information and confirmation.
- Identify risk factors and report high risk customers to compliance.
- Ensure proper maintenance and update of KYC records and documentation.
- Assist with any other task and ad hoc projects as required.
- Ensure all process related knowledge is documented, reviewed, updated periodically and shared with team members.
- Maintain expected accuracy and productivity standards.
- Ensure all process performance is met in accordance with the agreed Service Level
Agreement and Key Performance Indicators.
- To undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as delegated by the Manager in
accordance with operational or business requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree/Diploma in Banking & Finance, Business, or other similar disciplines.
- e-KYC and AML related certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of operational experience in financial institutions/ payments/cards/ banks/ e-wallets would be advantageous.
- Good knowledge and understanding of overall e-KYC and AML regulatory requirements, processes, policies and operations.
- Posses strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, adept at effectively managing unforeseen challenges, and demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement. Should exhibit flexibility, prioritise customer needs, and excel in a collaborative team setting by actively seeking feedback and being open to personal development.
- The responsibilities of this position involve functioning in a fast-paced environment with a substantial workload and efficiently conveying results to the management team.
- Prior experience and proficiency in using Google Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
