TRG SUPERVISOR ASIA
**Responsibilities**
- Manage a team of TRG analysists. Organize schedules and assign tasks making sure the department necessities are always covered.
- Master the existing real time compliance controls for all jurisdictions (Customer/beneficiary/transaction/corridor/country thresholds, filters and restrictions); all the existing processes and procedures and have the capacity to implement new and efficient procedures to reduce the teams workload.
- Report to the Malaysia and Asia Compliance Officer any issues or gaps identified on the existing compliance controls, as well as having the initiative to provide possible strategies to control and mitigate risks.
- Make sure the team works up to standards. Monitor and maintain close and continuous communication with the Quality Assurance representative; making sure the assessment of the team members work is accurate, following the implemented procedures and assuring the team learns from their errors and improves over time.
- Provide continues training to the team so they improve their overall compliance knowledge; they improve on how to manage difficult agent and customers; they master how to interview suspicious customers without scaring them away and avoiding tipping off; they improve on how to identify suspicious patterns in customers profiles, require the necessary and correct supporting documents to take a well measured decision and help them identify when a case must be reported as suspicious or not.
- Monitor the Quality Assurance representative testing of regulatory filters and sanction list screening. Immediately report to the Malaysia and Asia Compliance Officer if issues are identified during testing.
- Balance the team management with reviewing transactions when required in order to reduce the backlog of transaction.
- Prepare department KPIs
- Work with all Compliance teams and any necessary departments to coordinate the operational aspects of any new project and any existing or new procedure to meet the company's regulatory obligations and daily activity.
- Assist all Compliance Officer of Asia Region during regulatory inspections, internal and external audits.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time at management prerogative.

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Fluent in English, written and spoken (mandatory)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Microsoft Excel Advanced (mandatory) Clean and efficient working, pivot tables, dashboards, charts, multiple formulas, data analytics
- Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, OneNote, Power Point, Planner)
- Technology oriented, with the ability to learn many different programs naturally
**EDUCATION**
Bachelor's degree in law, business or a related field
**WORK EXPERIENCE**
At least 5 years of proven working experience in the financial or legal sector, with a minimum of 2 years in a compliance, risk management or fraud investigation position and responsible of a team of at least 5 people.
