**Key responsibilities**

**_ Accounting_**
- Data entry and processing
- Bank account reconciliation
- Preparation of weekly payments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Month-end close
- Cash flow forecasting and management
- Budgeting
- Payroll
- General process improvements

**_ _**_Statutory Compliance _**
- IAS, BAS and FBT, and SG tax
- State payroll tax Reporting
- Monthly management accounts preparation
- Ad hoc requests from internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting management with the business plan

**Key requirements**
- 3 - 5 years of accounting & finance experience and have a solid understanding of accounting principles
- Solid in Australian accounting and reporting
- Familiar with Xero and other accounting software
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the Accounting and Finance function
- Extraordinary skills with numbers, a passion for pinpoint accuracy and a keen eye for detail
- Collaborative, a ‘can do’ attitude and the self-motivation to work independently
- Understand the importance of deadlines, and able to explain financial concepts to colleagues who may not have a financial background
- Qualified CA is an advantage
- Willing to work on a broad range of cross-departmental projects
