Job responsibilities Perform monthly tax accounting (corporate income tax & deferred tax provision) Perform tax compliance work (corporate income tax return, WHT filing, GST return, FBT return, etc.) for entities within ASP region. Perform tax-related journal voucher posting and tax accounts reconciliation. Preparation of local transfer pricing documentation for entities within ASP region Ad-hoc tax projects as needed (e.g. tax audit preparation, process improvement, new tax implementation, etc) Liaison with colleagues from various departments, in-house customer (i.e. local tax team), external tax consultants and tax authorities in a respectful and professional manner. Qualification and Skills A recognized Degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance/Tax Minimum of 2-4 years working experience in in-house tax department / tax shared services of MNCs or Big4/ mid
- accounting firm Working experience in corporate tax compliance and general knowledge in other tax areas (e.g. tax accounting, WHT, GST/VAT/SST, transfer pricing, etc) is required Knowledge or experience in foreign tax compliance in ASP region will be an added advantage Preferably experience working in SAP system or other major ERP system. Good English language proficiency, both verbal and written Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong numerical and data analytical skills with high level of accuracy Ability to work to multiple deadlines and complete task efficiently and accurately Ability to work independently on the given portfolio in a supportive environment.
