JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Data Migration Lead

Job Purpose:
To manage the Data Migration work stream and to meet the project objectives, timelines and stakeholders expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee data migration activites (end-to-end).

Job Specification:
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Data Migration workstream to meet the project objectives, timelines and stakeholders expectations
Define the scope and detailed wokplans for the Data Migration workstream
Prepare and present Data Migration workstream status to PWC, PSC and other relevant forums
Develop the Data Migration Strategy and Approach for the project
Present and communicate the Data Migration Strategy and Approach to key stakeholders
Develop detailed data migration & reconciliation plans
Lead, plan & manage end to end data migration & reconciliation activities including scoping, requirements, design, build, test and cutover
Plan & manage data migration mock run activities
Lead, plan & manage data cleansing activities
Manage internal & external dependencies
Collaborate with project team, vendors and stakeholders on Data Migration activities
Work with project team, vendors and stakeholders to

resolve Data Migration related issues
Manage vendors, business & IT teams to ensure delivery on time and within expectations
Ensure Data Migration plans adheres to the organization’s guidelines & standards
Supervise and guide Data Migration team resources.

Qualifications:
Degree.

Requirement:
Experienced in planning & managing medium to large scale Data Migration activities
Possesses sound project planning & project management experience
Experienced in developing Data Migration & Reconciliation strategies, approaches and designs
Experienced in planning, managing and executing Data Migration activities
Experienced in planning, managing and executing data cleansing activities
Experienced in developing solutions for Data Migration issues and challenges
Sound analytical skills to capture, analyse and facilitate resolution for issues
Has a good understanding of the project SDLC
Ability to organise own work effort to deliver on agreed timeline and work on multiple parallel activities.
