As a Lead you will be responsible for leading in developing prototypes, technical solutions, reusable software components and architecture framework by individual contribution or by leading a small technical team.

**What you’ll be doing**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- To lead a small technical team with individual contribution in designing and developing:

- Prototypes or proof-of-concept to mitigate architectural or technical concerns.
- Technical solutions to solve the problems at hand.
- Reusable software components (that may be part of architectural framework).
- Work closely with the Technical consultant and the project team by:

- Participating in architectural and design activities.
- Contributing in technical discussion and/or brainstorming sessions.
- As a liaison person between the team and consultant
- Champion the use of software development best-practices such as TDD and design patterns.
- Expect to lead technical initiative organize by EDQ.
- Participate in initiatives that improve processes and/or procedures that contribute to performance effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Communicate work progress and all (work related) pertinent information in an accurate and timely manner to the Scrum Master.
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications** Demonstrate knowledge of**
- Programing skills (JAVA, JavaScript, JQuery, Web Programming in general, UML)
- .Net & C# are added advantage
- Web service technologies such as SOAP, WSDL
- XML technologies (XSL, XSD, XPATH.)
- Security technologies (LDAP, encryption, certificates, security attacks )
- Web platforms (IIS, Tomcat, WebSphere )
- Performance Testing and optimization techniques and approach
- Database Oracle, MS SQL or DB2 is an advantage
- TCP/IP network environments including troubleshooting network related issues is an advantage
- Experience in middleware technologies such as IBM MQ or EAI types is an advantage
- Knowledge of all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing (integration, user, and performance), debugging and implementation
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Delivery LifeCycle) process
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi task and prioritize work
- Persistence and attention to detail in problem solving
