**What are we looking for?**

We are looking for an Vet Assistant to be based at Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. As a Vet Assistant, you will be responsible for a job involving various tasks aimed at supporting the efficient of operation.

You will play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward. Your responsibilities will include:
**Job Descriptions**:

- Assist veterinarians in all aspects of equine medical care, including examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
- Handle and restrain horses during procedures with care and attention to safety protocols.
- Prepare treatment rooms and surgical suites for procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the clinic, including animal housing areas, treatment rooms, and surgical suites.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians, ensuring accurate dosages and proper techniques.
- Monitor patients during recovery from anaesthesia and assist with post-operative care as required.
- Educate clients on proper horse care techniques, including nutrition, exercise, and preventative health measures.
- Document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures accurately in electronic medical records.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current on advancements in equine veterinary medicine and animal care practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the clinic.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with horses in a veterinary or equine care setting strongly preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Must be proficient in both English and Malay.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
