We would like to hire an account assistant to take care of our client's day-to-day financial tasks. You will be responsible for both accounts payable and receivable along with all payroll and bank account management and reconciliation tasks. To do well in this role you should have previous experience as an account assistant and have used SQL Accounting and Quickbooks.

You will play an important role, such as:

- Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process.
- Monitoring financial transactions and reports.
- Fact-checking accounting data and rectify of any accounting errors.
- Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on monthly basis and periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
- Preparing monthly and yearly financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounting for information.
- Assist in preparing a full set of financial accounts.
- Prepare and submit various statutory reports.
- Liaise with auditors and relevant authorities.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of statutory accounts
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
- Follow accounting policies and procedures.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as and when necessary.

To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:

- Possess good knowledge of basic bookkeeping & filling procedures and familiar with accounting standards.
- Those who can start immediately will be an added advantage
- Advanced level in MS Excel and good knowledge of accounting software.
- Equipped with organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information and documents.
- Able to work closely with various departments in the company.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
