**Job Overview**:
The Project Manager will provide leadership to managers and professional staff, is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams, develops departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities, and decisions are guided by resource availability and functional objectives. Project Manager requires multi-disciplinary expertise within own discipline and knowledge of others, applies understanding of the industry to achieve financial and operational objectives, manages multiple related teams, sets organizational priorities and allocates resources, identifies and resolves a range of complex technical, operational and organizational problems, and impacts the business results of a sub-function by supporting and funding of projects, products, services and/or technologies and developing policies and plans. The Project Manager also influences customers and/or functional leadership to set policies or obtain resources.

It operationally reports to Project Director /Project Manager, Functionally Reports to Engineering Director and will liaise with Engineering Manager, Construction Manager, Hook-up Manager, QA/QC Manager, HSSE Manager, Project Planner, Marine Installation Manager, Project Management Team, Document control, Project Cost Control Manager, Certification group, Procurement Group, Subcontractors, and Vendors & Clients.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Reports to Sr. Project Manager, Project Director and Sr. Project Director.
- Responsible for management of all phases of small projects or part of a larger project.
- Accountable for financial and technical success of project or segment of project.
- Manages project personnel to achieve project objectives.
- May have bottom-line accountability for the financial and technical success of the project or area of project responsibility.
- May manage Bid Proposals.
- Promotes a culture of teamwork, collaboration and success. Learns from other leaders.
- Ensures preparation of Project Execution Plan (PEP), Project Scope of Work, Project Setup, Project Closeout and Change Orders.
- Reviews and approves project expenditures, budgets, estimates, cost reports, project financial forecasts and schedules.
- Ensures clear and open communication with project team members and between project team and functional groups, the changes in scope of work and schedule are captured in the Change Management System (DTMS) and the implementation of Lessons Learned.
- Manages the project team, internal and external customer relationships, and staffing of project team with competent persons from the functional groups.
- Manages to the cost, schedule, safety, quality and contractual requirements of the project through effective planning in accordance with company procedures.
- Demonstrates values in line with company’s values.
- Understands and promotes McDermott’s Vision, Mission and Values.
- Understands and promotes McDermott’s HSES Standards.
